BIO PORT KOREA, INC.
Bio Port Korea, Inc. was established in 2004. It manufactures pouch snacks, box snacks, premium gift sets, liquid tea bases, bottled tea, tea sachets, and pouch drinks.
In terms of distribution, Bio Port has been affiliated with Costco Korea since 2005, then expanded into Costco US (2014), Costco Canada (2016), Costco Australia (2019), Costco China and Taiwan (2020). It has also been supplying to S&R Shopping in the Philippines since 2014.
In 2018, it was awarded the 5 Million Dollar Export Tower. In 2021 (just 3 years later), it was awarded the 10 Million Dollar Export Tower. This is a recognition from the Korea International Trade Association of having achieved a cumulative export value of 5 and 10 million USD respectively.
Its snack manufacturing takes place in a factory in Gijang, while tea manufacturing is in a specialised factory in Yangsan. It also runs its own R&D facilities, in partnership with universities and research institutes, for scientific research into healthy functional food development.
